Green Art Labs was founded with sustainability at its heart.
We personally live a lifestyle that prioritizes the environment. So it’s in our nature to think primarily of sustainability as we develop our products. In fact, one of our first concerns in offering a product was that we didn’t want to create more waste.
Over the years teaching classes and camps for kids—all with reusable materials—parents and families continually look to Green Art Labs for eco-tips for busy families. We see our business as a role model for sustainability. We love encouraging families to take action for our planet.
Here are the ways Green Art Labs prioritizes sustainability:
Eco-packaging: Our packaging is intentionally minimal, and we strive to go zero waste. We use recycled materials and our materials can be reused and/or recycled. Often, you’ll see us repurpose parts of the packaging in the art activities. We are continually evolving our packaging to strive for zero waste.
Quality materials: We choose organic materials when possible, and continually seek the most eco-minded materials we can find.
We hire local vendors and employees: We try our best to support our local community by hiring local vendors and employees.
Support small businesses: Whenever possible, we source our art supplies from small businesses who are eco-minded. We share widely about the amazing artful, eco-leaders we find!
Carbon-neutral shipping: Our art boxes are shipped via carbon-neutral shipping to minimize our impact on the environment.
We donate to our community: We are generous in donating to local fundraisers within our community.
We partner with environmental organizations: We collaborate with non-profits we believe in - who are doing impactful work within the community.
We are founded on a love of reusable materials: Our roots are in the art of reuse, and we value this creative, ecological mindset of using what we have and reusing before buying new.
We share our eco-strategies with families and colleagues: We love empowering others to take action to live sustainably on this planet!
