Green Art Labs classes emphasize the need to repurpose items in a fun way, using all collected, re-used materials for the building blocks and inspiration of the art made by both children and adults.

The interview was a great opportunity to both highlight the ocean pollution problem and invite the public to the upcoming art event opening, which includes unique artwork made of ocean plastic, a screening of the documentary movie Straws: A Documentary for a Sea of Change, local food and drink, and environmental action info. Show opens Friday, April 20, 6-9 pm at Expressive Arts at 32nd & Thorn, 3201 Thorn St, SD 92104. www.expressiveartssandiego.com. 619-251-8474.
