To keep our families and our community safe during the COVID-19 outbreak, we’re taking our classes online.
– Weekly Zoom Meeting where artists can connect with each other and Joan Green, make art together, share art, and support each other
In Creative Kids, children express their creativity and have fun using common materials found at home to make their art. Each week we’ll suggest a different art activity to engage young artists – things you might not think of. Our ideas our outside the box and really fun for kids.
Our art projects use common items found around the house. With our environmental mind-set, the idea is to use what you have. Not to buy new.
Artists will use their problem solving, social-emotional skills, creative thinking, fine motor development, confidence, and more to make projects. Plus there’s STEAM learning going on such as observing, planning, designing, engineering and presenting their work. All activities designed by Joan Green a Reggio Emilia-inspired artist and teacher.
